Yesterday, at a high school football game in Jacksonville, FL, a triple shooting left one person dead and two more injured. Just one week before, two more people were injured in a shooting at a football game at Palm Beach Central High School.
Clearly, there is only one logical step for the Florida legislature to take: state law must require that all high school football players, coaches, and cheerleaders as well as all game attendees must be armed. There is no other way to stop this wave of violence. I expect Governor Rick Scott to call a special session to address this legislation immediately.
