The current occupant of the White House shows us all we need to know about his approach to the COVID-19 crisis. Visiting the CDC in Atlanta, he is clearly old, confused, and in over his head. He doesn’t realize how much he doesn’t understand as he holds up a (to him) meaningless piece of paper like a child at show & tell. His failures will result in increased infections and deaths.

When you see a news story that starts with the phrase “Florida man” you can be sure that it will be about something weird and/or illegal – or just plain stupid – happening in the Sunshine State. However, men aren’t the only screw-ups and idiots in Florida. I present here for your edification, three examples out of the many, many available.

Republicans are marching to the beat of the Putin drum
It is bad enough that the denizens of the White House and their sycophants in Congress are ever more fervently repeating the conspiracy theories cooked up by the Russians. Now, Moscow Mitch has abdicated any responsibility for even trying to have the appearance of a fair Senate impeachment trial. Instead, he has publicly stated that he will allow the White House to control the trial. Trump and McConnell are clearly disloyal to the U.S., and completely in the thrall of Putin. This is sickening and will only get worse as they become increasingly emboldened.
Russia sees a way to defeat the U.S. by coopting our government and never having to fire a shot. Say thanks to the treasonous Republicans for handing our fate and future to Vladimir Putin.
